Welcome to GMGMA
The Georgia Medical Group Management Association is a non-profit association whose membership is composed of individuals interested in the administrative aspect of the medical group practice.
Membership is diverse - from the small, solo physician office to the large multi-specialty clinics, IPA's and MSO's across the state of Georgia. It started in 1965 with a small group of Administrators from the PAPP Clinic, Emory Clinic and a few others who just wanted to get together once a month to network. It was then incorporated in 1968 as Georgia Medical Group Administrators. In 1994 the name was changed to Georgia Medical Group Management Association to reflect the affiliation with MGMA.
