GMGMA 2010 Salary Survey

The GMGMA 2010 Salary Survey is a great tool to assist in assessing your staff salaries!  Each year GMGMA conducts a Salary Survey.  This survey includes all management, front office and back office staff salaries.  It does not include physicians.  If you are a member and participate in the data gathering portion of the survey, then you will receive a free copy of the survey results.  However, members who did not participate, or non-members may purchase the Salary Survey.  This is based on 2009 data.  The data was gathered via an online tool created by NC Medical Group Managers.  The data was processed and placed into a results format by Dixon Hughes PLLC, CPA's and Accountants.

GMGMA/MAG unveil Model Managed Care Contract

The Georgia Medical Group Management Association (GMGMA) and the Medical Association of Georgia (MAG) have introduced a Georgia Model Managed Care Contract on a joint basis as a resource for Georgia physicians. It's designed to help administrator and physicians contend with often-overlooked and complicated contract language. The resource is annotated with Georgia statutes and case law, and it includes language from managed care lawsuit settlements in which MAG was an original plaintiff. A Georgia Model Managed Care Contract is available online on a password-protected basis at no cost to members.  Members should go to the Members Login Page to download their copy.  Non-members may purchase the contract for $350.
