Active Member
     An Active Member shall be an individual directly employed by a medical practice in the State of Georgia with at least one licensed physician formally organized for health care delivery, or an individual directly employed by a management organization, hospital/hospital system, practice management firm or other independent business entity in the State of Georgia which provides administrative and related support services to one or more medical practices of at least one licensed physician formally organized for health care delivery. (These can include MSO’s, PHO's, and IPA's.) The individual must have direct management responsibilities or be engaged in the daily operation of such business entity.  Annual dues shall be determined by the Board of Directors.  Each Active Member shall be entitled to one vote and is eligible to hold office and serve on committees. ($125.00) (Please scroll to bottom of page and click button to continue.)
Affiliate Member
     An Affiliate Member shall be an organization or individual which provides products and services directly to health care delivery organizations. Examples of these are accounting/financial services, legal or consulting services, data processing or information management systems/services and office or medical systems/suppliers; or an organization or individual that provides health care services by non-physician providers such as physical therapy services, home health care services, ancillary services, etc.  Affiliate members cannot vote, hold office but may serve on committees with Board approval.  Annual dues shall be determined by the Board of Directors. This category may include consultants, service organizations, sponsors and vendors. 2008 Platinum Benefits are:

  • Contact Persons - 4 persons from your company to receive all mailing, participate in list serve, and may serve on committees.
  • Newsletter Ad - Full page ad in our quarterly Newsletter, Progress Notes.  Full page is 8.5 x 11.  May be color or black/white.  Preferred format is .eps, however, .pdf may be used if print quality.
  • Conference Exhibit Booth - One Premium Booth space (includes 2 booth personnel), plus 2 additional booth personnel for free for a total of 4 booth personnel.  Priority choice for Annual Conference booth space if exhibit application received by deadline.  Pre-conference attendee roster in Excel format emailed after cut-off date.  Post-conference attendee roster in Excel format emailed within 2 weeks after close of conference.  Badge denoting affiliate level.  Special signage at booth denoting partnership.  The 2009 Annual conference will be held June 21-23, 2009 at the SanDestin Golf and Beach Resort in Destin, FL.  We anticipate 150-170 attendees to attend this conference.  Exhibitor applications will appear on the website after January 10, 2009. 
  • Governmental Forum Exhibit Booth - One Exhibit Table at the Governmental Forum on November 6, 2008.  The 2008 meeting will be held at the Global Tech Learning Center in Atlanta, GA.  This is a table-top display only.  6' skirted table and 2 chairs will be provided.  Also includes a Pre-Forum attendee roster in Excel format sent within 3 working days after the attendee registration cut-off date.  Only Business Members are allowed to exhibit at this event.  4 exhibit personnel are included and this category is given first priority booth location.  Also included is a post-forum attendee roster in Excel format.
  • Membership Rosters - 4 Membership rosters in Excel format during the year by request only.  Please send your request to gmgma@gmgma.com.
  • Certificate/Plaque - Certificate of Memberships will be given to all 4 contact persons as well as a plaque will be presented to the company.
  • GMGMA Logo Use - Platinum is  authorized to use our special GMGMA Business Partner logo in their promotional materials.  Please send your request for this logo to gmgma@gmgma.com.

  • Board Dinner - By invitation - you may have 4 people from your company to attend a dinner with the GMGMA board members.  We kindly ask that the company representatives attending be your company employees when attending this dinner and not affiliated company employees. 
  • Salary Survey Sponsor - Platinum Business Members are listed as a Sponsor of our annual Salary Survey.  Your logo will be shown in a prominent position and credit will be given in the President's introduction letter.  If competitors appear, then equal billing will be given and alphabetical order will be used.

Student Member
     Student member is an individual who is currently enrolled at a Georgia college/university and is planning a career in medical management and is not otherwise qualified for any other membership category.
